Curious what everyone has, here's mine, I pay for 40Mb/5Mb. Easy enough to share, go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and run the test, after you get your result click share, then use the image tab and paste it here as a image.

I would download the whole internet with a connection like that.

I did..... sadly since moving house I'm only likely to get 25Mbps down and 5 up through satellite internet :(

if we had that speed on centurylink they would probably still limit you to 250GB/month.. lol, bastards

Look at this nonsense

CenturyLink's download guidelines are designed to support today's download usage patterns. Our updated plans include the following download usage limits:

  • 1.5Mbps plans - 150 Gigabytes
  • Plans greater than 1.5Mbps - 250 Gigabytes

Hehe no. It's a normal gigabit connection. They are not very uncommon, most people in the larger cities can get them.

The speedtest result is a bit misleading though, if I plug the cable directly in the wall socket I get 1000/1000 easily using FTP for example.

Some example of ISPs and their prices if interested:

That sucks :(

There are no data limits/caps on any links here in Sweden except for 4G mobile networks which are usually 10-50GB.

yeah I got a notice twice, once for using 500GB and another for using 750 lol. Whats the point in 40MB if I cant max it out!?

I recently upgraded to 30/10 but it looks like I'm not really getting that on the up side.  However, streaming outside my home did get much better with this move.
