hugs11 2
Hey there, I made several research but couldnt find anything related, so i apologies if i missed some topics ... I'm looking for a way to remap android key (f1 f2 but i could set any f key on my harmony remote) to toggle subtitle and audio channel. Is it possible to do this ? Thx
ebr 14902
Hi. No, it is not possible to do this at this time. Plus, those items are not binary "toggles". There could be any number of possible selections which is why we use menus now.

You always overcomplicate things. It could be so easy. In case of audio the button would just switch to the next audio stream, in case of subtitles it's the same plus a disabled state.
hugs11 2
@pünktchen it was exactly was i was thinking when talking about toggle. And its how it's called in kodi (if i remember well). I dont want to assign every audio track to a key on my remote, but just to use a key to go next > next > disable. Such a nice feature on kodi using keymap editor, don't have to open the menu and /or pause movie to set your audio and subtitles. Luke 36999
Can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device: https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html It supports keys to cycle through audio and subtitle tracks. The supported keys are mentioned in the app settings screen.

In general every key mapping that has the "Shift" modifier does not work in the app on the Shield, but in a browser on a PC. I've used a real keyboard, not a remote to test this.
