sandro_rocha_1982 1
Would it be possible to insert some mechanism that warns the user that the media file has some integrity problem? I copied a movie to the folder monitored by Emby, he identified it, downloaded the information but when I went to watch the playback it didn't start. When I went to check the file I noticed that it was zero size, there was some problem during the copy to the folder. On another occasion I downloaded a file that came with some encapsulation problem and showed to be 35 hours old and played irregularly. It would be nice to have some tool that checks if the file is healthy and warns us otherwise.
Luke 37008
Hi, yes I think a better error message about the problem would be helpful.
sandro_rocha_1982 1
I no longer have the log where the faulty file appears. The only error that appeared in the log was with ffprobe, where it did not identify the file information. When I went to look at the file I saw that it had zero size.
