I have my OLED connected on eARC with Sonos arc so i played some 4K HDR content from other apps (built-in) and got DOlby Atmos from the S2 app. So now i tried Emby for LG 1.0.31 and same content (TrueHD 7.1 audio) results in Dolby Digital 5.1. Is something going wrong with my setup? At first i had default values for users on the server and then restricted transcoding but nothing changed. Why Emby changes (or the TV) the audio info passed to Sonos Arc? IS there a hidden setting i am not aware of? Thank you! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried with a Shield 2k17 model that i had on my main living room setup (with amp + large main speakers for 5.1) and atmos worked like charm for true hd tracks. I am not sure if this will suffice or i would need to update to the latest model. Some dts tracks played without sound (invalid format returned) while from the TV or other box were being played without any issue. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
