GaryMUK 1 Posted January 27, 2022 Share Posted January 27, 2022 Freeview in the UK has had a big shuffle and moved channel numbers of many channels with the introduction of BBC Three. Currently most of the mainstream channels are reporting on their old channel numbers. Whilst changes may well take some time to come through, this is not a minor channel change, about 80% of the mainstream entertainment channels have changed channel number. So the programme guide is now essentially useless for the Standard Def channels. Thankfully the HD ones have not changed otherwise all my recordings would be broken until this problem is fixed. I will of course manually remap most of the affected channels, but can you ask the provider to update asap please. Also once I have manually mapped a channel, is the only way to get back to automatic mapping to delete the EPG and set it up again? I ran a tuner scan on my HD Home Run Duo. Deleted the device from Emby and re-added. Deleted the guide data and re-added the same one, let the guide data refresh then checked the channels section. It still hasn't updated to reflect the channel changes. RobsterUK 22 Posted January 31, 2022 Share Posted January 31, 2022 For completeness, I can confirm this is now resolved. Didn't get another chance to look at this until Sunday 30th Jan.
