Juan Simón 12 Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Android TV. In the subtitle brightness option dropdown there is one called "dimmer". Could someone explain to me what this option does? Thanks. Regards.
Solution FrostByte 5252 Posted January 26, 2022 Solution Posted January 26, 2022 Even more dim than the "dim" option. Some people complain that subtitles are too bright on their HDR TVs
Juan Simón 12 Posted January 27, 2022 Author Posted January 27, 2022 ok, thanks. I asked this because I use Android TV in Spanish and this "dimmer" option has been literally translated as "Regulador de intensidad", which doesn't make much sense. 1
FrostByte 5252 Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Ya, that didn't translate too well. A dimmer switch can be used to regulate the intensity of the light in a room which is probably why it translated to what you see. 1
