Screenshot and log attached.

Just wondering if the logs say why my connection is being denied? Emby can see my server and I have no unusual firewalls or anything. This is all local.

Thanks

No luck with any of the internal connection tips. No VPN is running, No firewall.

The web interface can see my server it just fails when connecting. Ive tried both Emby Connect and manual IP address.

Not a bit deal as I dont often use that interface (it has worked before). Just curious why I can connect to the server interface but this client refuses to connect?

Are you loading http or https online web app? If you use app.emby.media, does same happen?

Edit: FWIW have no (edit:)some issues connecting locally through http://tv.emby.media, (edit:)Edge and Chrome fail, Chromium and Firefox connect.

Chromium:

Firefox:

Same issue as Swagger.

Access to fetch at 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8096/emby/system/info/public' from origin 'http://tv.emby.media' has been blocked by CORS policy: The request client is not a secure context and the resource is in more-private address space `private`.

Access to fetch at 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8096/emby/openapi' from origin 'http://swagger.emby.media' has been blocked by CORS policy: The request client is not a secure context and the resource is in more-private address space `private`.

So you have to have HTTPS Emby connection.

Thanks. Though it works in Chromium and Firefox, likely due to different policies implementation. But not see the reason tv.emby.media should require https and app.emby.media doesn't. In addition, if loading http://tv.emby.media then https should not be required as it would if loading https://tv.emby.media?

I would consider tv.emby.media obsolete at this point and use app.emby.media. They are the same thing.

But app.emby.media does not provide the keyboard directional arrow navigation. Its basically just the web server interface isnt it? At least in Safari it doesnt. Havent had a chance to check Chrome.

App.emby.media does provide it in Chrome, as it does in Edge, Chromium and Firefox (though it's somewhat clunky). Don't have Safari to test.

It does. You may just have to enable TV display mode in the app settings. That is the only difference between the two, where tv.emby.media enables it by default.
