Issue with default value Collection and Playlists

I don't really know if this issue is on client side or server side.

But for example each time i change settings on android tv related to Homepage it defaults back to setting Collections and Playlists to visible on server settings for the user. And as the option is not available on the client, i have to go and change it back on the server... And it will stay off until another config change is made on the Homepage settings of the clients

Regards

Not sure what are you referring to, can you elaborate a bit, what are you changing client-side?

Anything i change on android TV in the application settings such as Homepage Settings, or else ------> will result in the Show Collections on homepage and Show Playlists on Homepage options for the user be reverted to True.

FWIW I can't observe same behavior on 4.6.7.0 stable/2.0.64 beta.

Edit: Recreated, thanks to @FrostByte for assisting to narrow down under which conditions same occurs.

And what exactly were those conditions?

Server side: Playlists access enabled under User settings, but disabled in Home screen settings.

ATV app: Untick any library in Settings>Home Screen Layout>Allow to appear... Playlists library is back on refreshed Home Screen and enabled in server-side Home Screen settings.

Other changes in ATV will do it too.  I think just about any change that refreshes or changes the HS makes Collections or Playlists come back

Yes any change on ATV reverts back those two options to true.

As they are probably not in the post made from atv to the server and server seems to set them to true..thats why i reported that in the server section at the beginning

This appears to be fixed in .68 beta from my testing.

Cool, this was annoying. Thanks @FrostByte For confirming the fix in the upcoming release. 👍 Also thanks to @ebr for fixing the bug.. :) 🍺

Really looking forward to the next round of releases (server & apps)!

Looks like the devs have been busy. Well done guys.
