DSM Version: 7.0.1-42218 Update 2 is available but at the time of this writing can only be manually installed for most people. If you wish to update go to control panel in DSM to look up the processor used in your NAS.

For the Synology920+ this is the INTEL Celeron J4125.  A quick check on https://ark.intel.com/ shows:

I'm interested in the code name "Gemini Lake" for that.

With that info I can go to the download section at Synology https://archive.synology.com/download/Os/DSM/7.0.1-42218-2 for this update.  I scroll down to the Gemini Lake section to see this:

The last one on the list for 920+ is what I download for my NAS.
In DMS using Control Panel I can go to Updates & Restore.
I click the Manual DSM Update button even though it shows my DSM version up to date.

I select the PAT file I previously downloaded:

I get the warning how long the update might take and confirm the install by clicking the yes button.

I then get the update screen the very quickly installed the files.

Followed by the typical reboot screen with count down:

The update on my 920+ including the update took less than 5 minutes until I was logged back in again.
Now sporting the new update:

It'll likely show up within a week or two via the GUI but just thought I'd put this out there for those who like to have the most current release installed.

I tested in a VM machine first then on my Synology 920+ and both seemed to go smooth for me, just as it appeared to for you as well!

Audiomixer

I read through them but nothing really that I’m concerned with. Applied it anyway.  It all still works!
