benze 1
The FolderSync plugin description indicates: Quote Once installed, it's time to start adding Folders. These folders are destinations that you'd like to sync to, such as an external hard drive or network share. How do I define a network share? Can it be an NFS or CIFS share? What is the folder path nomenclature? Can I just specify //<servername>/<nfs_share>? What happens if the share is not online? Will folder sync just queue the sync until the share becomes available? Or do I need to mount the network share as a local folder, and then use the folder sync against a local path only? Thanks, Eric
Luke 37025
Quote How do I define a network share? Can it be an NFS or CIFS share? Hi, I would suggest CIFS. Mount it in the OS and then add the local mounted path to the folder sync plugin. Quote What happens if the share is not online? The transfers will fail, and it will try again later the next time the Transfer scheduled task runs.
