I am seriously thinking of cancelling and going to Plex as this plays same file no problem !

The log shows you have a permissions issue.

Since the file does not show any media info also, I suspect your server log has lots or permission errors also.

I have another pc running expenology and that could access no problems at all

@MIckeysServer are you still having an issue with this? Our install package sets up an emby user on the machine. Can you sure that user has permissions to your media folders?
