I have got  two problems:

First

When I try tot access Emby from my Synology DS 920+ I get a blank screen with the only message: forbidden.

Second

When I try to add libraries I the input field turns blank after selection of the Emby shared folder.

After de-installing and re-installing the application I still  got the same problem.

Please can you help me with both problems

Yours sincerely

Lucas

ps

Not that I understand this completely but Forbidden would mean the url you are using is considered Remote and you do not have Remote access enabled.

As for libraries what DSM version is this?  If DSM 7 did you set Internal User per share?

Dear Happy2Play,

thank you very much. This was the solution tot my problems.

It is not enough to give local users

with my local user name for Emby access to the shared folder with media

You really have to give system internal user

with the name emby  access to the shared folders that you use for your media.

I now can both access Emby and add libraries.

Perhaps this is a suggestion to the manual for Emby to point this out when installing it for the first time

Thanks very much!!

Lucas
