Samsung Tv wont connect anymore
Hi i installed Emby from the app store on my mums UE43J5500 it's a UK tv, everything was working fine until i changed the name of the Emby Server on my Synology. (That's server name not server address)
Now it will not connect, the tv was using wifi and was logged in using the https address and the correct port number.
Here are the things i have tried.
1. Uninstalled Emby from Tv and reinstalled, No luck.
2. On Synology, in Emby server, removed account that was using the Tv, N
Because the recent SSL expirations from LetsEncrypt have caused pain for a lot of users, requiring many to switch to some other certificate. You can find lots of examples in both the Samsung and LG sections of our community.
You must be on a device for which Samsung is no longer accepting updates, because now we're up to version 1.1+. Going forward you can install newer versions using the USB install process:
