The Android System WebView does not support play dts music.

Emby client does not support play dts music too.

It must  transcode if we want to play .

But , Emby does not transcode dts music。

Hi, how was this file created?

...... I download it.

What exactly is a DTS file? DTS is a multi-channel, usually 5.1 or 7.1, home theater lossy encoded audio format created by Digital Theater Systems. DTS is available on DVDs, but not lossleess, and for this guide we will be playing back DTS-WAV files which have come from enhanced audio-CDs or from concert DVDs or DTS CDs.

I can confirm this.  I have a test folder containing many audio formats, and in particular there are DTS in .mka, DTS in .wav and DTS in .dts files.  These all play correctly in Emby Theatre on Windows, and in the web client.

On my Android tablet, the .mka and .dts files play correctly, but the .wav files produces white noise. Playing using the web client in Chrome on Android is OK.

On iOS none of these DTS files plays at all; the server dashboard shows them continuing to play on my iPhone, whereas the phone's while-playing screen shows no movement.  On my iPad the while-playing screen also shows no progress, but the dashboard says it's stopped playing (yes, the phone and pad have the same versions of both iOS and the Emby client).  Playing using the webclient in Safari on iOS also does not work (same symptoms).

Some of the tests generated an ffmpeg log file (log files attached).

Emby software versions - server: 4.7.0.19; Android: 3.2.32; iOS: 2.1.0 (8)
