Please update to 6.1.9 beta and try again. In 6.1.8 was a sync issue.

With 6.1.9 This persists.kodi.log Clarification and update. tried with 6.2.0 with same results

I attempted restarting both kodi and the emby server. Interestingly i see this (2 devicesto the same IP) both were established at the same time.

The one at the top right can send a toaster message to the client, the one at the bottom left cannot.

No matter how many times, or what order i restart things in, both will appear, and no syncing works at all

Try following: generate a new device id. Kodi will restart, now (even if you are connected) reconnect again to the same Emby server same user same password. You can skip lib sync, database will stay consistent.

IF it doesn't help, send me a kogi.log and exactly explay what and when it's not synceing. Realtime, startup sync etc. Try adjusing the sync date in config menu.

Ill give it a try this evening.

Do i need to set anything else for kodi logging.

The log i attached was from the latest lack of sync.

Another interesting note from the image above, any idea why one of the Devices from my Kodi instance is explictly labeled as Emby-next-gen 6.1.9 and the other one as Kodi 6.1.9?
