Hello everyone, :)

A new beta version of the server is available but it is impossible to update it by the spk.

DSM gives me the following error message telling me that my version is too recent... See pictures (sorry in french)

Would you have a solution to force that install ?

Many thanks in advance.

FrostByte

I updated mine about 15 mins ago.  Same version of DSM and same NAS.

I think you downloaded the wrong version as the filename should have a "7" after the word synology/

emby-server-synology7_4.7.0.17_x86_64.spk

Hello @FrostByte ,

Thanks for your help.

No the filename is: emby-server-synology_4.7.0.17_x86_64.spk

I have a Synology DS1821+ (x64 AMD quad cores)

One idea ?

Exactly, that's the wrong version.  You do not have  7 after the word synology.  You're trying to use a DSM 6 version.

Download from here: https://emby.media/synology7-server.html

I'm sorry, I misunderstood ! :o

I thought you were telling me that I was installing the version with a 7 in front and that it was the wrong one, in fact it's quite the opposite.

I keep the url you give me warm to avoid making mistakes again.

Thank you again for your help. :) :)

Greetings.

Just look at the menu selections carefully and make sure to choose the DSM 7 not DSM menu choice.
Worse case you'll do it again but immediately recognize what the error on install means.

Ask me how I know. :)
