Can't install emby anymore on my samsung tv

As of the lateste version wich i was forced to update to since my tv wouldn't start the app , i had to upgrade.

In my case i have to delete the old one en install the new emby version.

But my tv won't install the app which i have unpacked in the root of my usb drive and i have used the same usb drive which i have installed the older versions.

My tv only askeds if ik want to explore my usb drive no installation is starting.

does anyone have i solution?...the firmware of my tv is up to date.

Hi, try reformatting your USB drive and see if that helps.

Did you delete the shortcut from Home, or did you go to the installed apps by clicking the cog wheel in the upper right corner and delete Emby from there?  I mention that because the symptom you're describing sounds like what happens when Emby is still installed.

Thanks for the reactions, the anwer from FrostByte was the solution.

Although i didn't have to do this the previous time (luck?) it's now installed and running.
