DJX 18
Hi Does anyone have the frame and or know if it has the Samsung player bug where phone videos would be stretched like on my 2019 tv?

FrostByte 5049
You already have a good TV, why not just buy a Shield or Firestick.

Looking to display my content on the wall. This is a use case where I would otherwise have a photo frame but need something bigger to display my home photos and videos so we can enjoy casually throughout the day. Do you mean for content displayed by Emby, or just natively through the TV?

Am I using Emby right here. We have home videos and photos which we want to have running as a sideshow in the house. I can't find an Android based screen big enough and so the Frame seems a good option if it's player doesn't have the same bug as my lounge TV
FrostByte 5049
I've seen one or two Frame users in here, but they don't post often. It's always possible Samsung fixed it in a newer OS version, but I wouldn't bet $2000 on it This link below shows the Frame is running the same level of OS that their regular TVs do. So if you can't find an actual 2021 Frame user then it's very possible the 2021 regular TVs will display your videos the same as the Frame TV Model Groups | Samsung Developers
