MrJokerMan 0
First off, this is my first time using the software. It is installed on a Synolgy NAS running DSM 6. I have the following folders: 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010, 2020 located is a share called Music. I have added this to a library as 'Other or unstructured'. These have audio files in them based of the year they were released. The files are in the this format: Artist - Title.mp3 I have a Yamaha amp that can access the network structure. I open a folder like the 1970 folder, and it just shows me the title of the song and not the Artist. Is there a way to have these displayed as either the file name, or sort and showing by Artist then Title? I have tried searching for this in the forums but could not find anything related. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Luke 36888
Hi, are your songs tagged with artist information? Do you see it in the Emby web app?
MrJokerMan 0
Wow, thanks for the super fast response. I have attached a sample of the details for some songs. I have also uploaded a sample of the folder view for the same directory in the web app. I hope this is what you mean and is useful. Thanks
Luke 36888
OK then yes folder view will show the title in emby, not file names, but we plan to add options for that in future updates. thanks.
