I have been having problems with podcasts populating when selected in the dashboard & MBC. Sometimes it will populate after a brief time, but if it does not, I can go into the dashboard and select Podcasts and if they show, then they show in MBC. It seems to be random - sometimes they populate, sometimes not. In the dashboard, if they don't then I get the message There was an error processing the request.  When they show, everything plays well like it should. The problem is just getting them to show reliably because right now they are not.

I didn't include the MBC log since this looks like it's on the server side.

Thanks for your time

too bad I can't edit the title...

Perhaps a problem with this feed:

Error getting response from http://pft.libsyn.com/rss
Block length does not match with its complement.

Hi, ebr.  Thanks for the quick reply

I removed that feed plus another feed that had the same error farther back in the log. Ran a fresh scan and still having the same problem

It seems to be working now since the reboot.  I guess it was the bad feed. We used to get a message in Notifications if a podcast had a problem. Is there a way to get that function back?

Yes that used to be there.  @@snazy2000 did you take that out for some reason?

  • 2 years later...

The Podcasts plugin has been updated with a new configuration screen to match the look and feel of the rest of Emby Server. I think you'll find it much more enjoyable to use and configure now. Thanks.
