sward 26
Hello - is there a way to use the API to get Emby to refresh the recording timers on wake? As it stands my HTPC sleeps 14 hrs per day, and when it wakes, all the recording timers are off by 14 hrs, and the only way to update them is to manually restart Emby. Luke 36888
Hi, this is something we're looking into and hoping will be resolved via a .net core runtime update. Emby Server should handle this automatically internally. The problem is that when the system wakes, Emby Serve is not being notified by Windows that the wake occurred, and therefore the timers don't get reset. Luke 36888
@sward if you wouldn't mind trying this with the beta server, it has the .net core 6.0 runtime, which could make a difference. Thanks !
sward 26
I'm willing to give it a try. Where would I download the beta server?
Luke 36888
Beta instructions are on our website, if available for your platform: https://emby.media/download Thanks.
sward 26
Best I can tell, installing the Beta requires running a setup.exe file. Is there no 7-Zip file to download and extract to a directory of one's choosing? If not, I'll wait for the official release.
