mirdragon 15 Posted September 9, 2021 Share Posted September 9, 2021 When adding the HDHR Quatro Connect to the system it shows option for allow hardware transcoding and is automatically ticked I've unticked this as the Quatro does not have hardware transcoding built-in, can the software not automatically have this unticked and only ticked if the product supports hardware transcoding? Carlo 4330 Posted September 9, 2021 Share Posted September 9, 2021 Hi, since there is no transcoding hardware on this tuner the status of the config option doesn't matter. @Luke since the majority of HDHRs don't support this and even some people who can use it don't, can we set the default for this option to not be enabled for HDHRs?
