And it is not retricted to the web app! My app at my LG tv show the same behavior. take a look: the filesystem shows the web app shows the LG tv shows This was an exaple where the aspect ratio of the original season-poster.jpg produce a CD looking shape. Here comes an example where the aspect ratio of the original season-poster.jpg produce a DVD looking shape. emby has not been restartet and CA settings have not been changed! File system: web app LG tv As you can see, it is not possible to get shapes with correct aspect ratio even is you change the original images whitch are used as season-poster. thx Matthias Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ebr 14910 Posted September 1, 2021 Share Posted September 1, 2021 Okay, I think the web and LG apps are not taking the exact shape and, instead, trying to choose a shape based on a "best guess" and those BD covers are being interpreted as closer to square than DVD. If you choose a CA treatment that doesn't have a "frame" (e.g. MetroCase) I bet you get closer to proper ratios. @Luke will have to confirm my theory on what those apps are doing.
