Change it to the first option.  Then navigate to folder and grab a screen shot for us.

There you go, that's the folder view.

I still do not understand!
the view I have is NOT a folder view.

But that's what you see in the screenshot

In my library I have 5 folders named:
- Dance # 1
- Dance # 2
- Rock # 1
- Rock # 2
etc. etc

but as you see for yourself they do not appear visualized like this

There are some folders that don't make sense (like "Daredevil", "Elektra", "Armageddon", etc)

In Emby the folder view isn't directly from disc but is a virtual view from the database.

For the ones that don't make sense like Daredevil click on the folder and see what's inside of it.
You will want to check the tags of the tracks of the album as something is tagged Daredevil.

Is it not possible to view simple folders in Emby?
a bit like folders under Windows

I checked for example the first song of the album Daredevil (Francesco Renga - Angelo) but in the ID3 of the mp3 file there is no reference to the word Daredevil

No, it's a virtual folder view and won't be exactly like File Manager.

In the pic above click the pencil icon next to Daredevil.  What is the path?

the path is Love#2 (the name of my folder-pc)dd.thumb.jpg.48c38cd8b0651957e0e6becf2076725d.jpg

So I would imagine if you load up all tracks from that path in mp3tag you will see it named Daredevil.

I checked with mp3tag and even removing the "daredevil" field from the tags of some files (3-4 no more) the situation does not change.

I solved it by manually updating the metadata field by writing the correct folder name "Rock # 1" etc.

After editing the tags in the files you would want to move the album out of library, scan, then add it back.

Just running a normal library scan is enough. You don't need to move the files out.

Are you all set now?

I have tried several times with the scan of the library but ... nothing to do

I didn't move the files out but renamed the Libraries manually
