RandallC 3
Hi all, I use the option to segment TV recordings and movie recordings into separate folders. It seems that no matter how I configure my libraries, I end up with duplicative entries on the main "My Media" bar in my home screen. I am attaching a screenshot to explain. I always seem to have a Recorded Movies entry, a Recorded TV entry (which is duplicated?) and then a Recordings entry that, when clicked, shows the TV and Movies option. I really just want either one entry for movies and one for tv, or the top level "Recordings" from which I can select. I've tried removing all the library entries and re-adding but it seems to automatically create some entries itself. As usual, I'm probably doing something boneheaded. Appreciate the help. Carlo 4328
Hi, what do your DVR library paths look like in setip?
RandallC 3
I want to say that I nuked the default path before to see if that helped. Actually, I don't recall repopulating it...
RandallC 3
And a screenshot from the library area as well. Note the duplicate "Recorded Shows".
Carlo 4328
Have you tried deleting the duplicate? Are you recording to a different machine/box?
RandallC 3
I have tried deleting the duplicate - both disappear! I am recording to a separate machine/box (a synology DS918+).
Carlo 4328
The library should come back after the next recording to it. Can you try a quick recording? Run a library scan if needed as well.
