Hi,

I'm having an issue with playing trailers. The trailer opens up but it doesn't play, it gets stuck loading as per the picture attached. I have multiple devices and the issue is only happening on my Sony Android TV16269473496328653321803184659777.thumb.jpg.b64e6938355a5b91968e5ca9eadf2baa.jpg. The trailers were working fine till recently, I'm not sure what happened.

Information:

Server build: 4.6.4.0

App: 2.0.09g

Android: 8

Build: Bravia_ATV3_4K_PA-user 8.0.0

Model Number: Sony KD-65X7500F

I have attached the logs for your reference.

Regards,

Jassim

No it's happening with all trailers. The strange thing is that the cinema intros are working fine only when I try to launch the trailer from the movie or TV page that I'm facing this issue.

Hi @Luke,

It looks like the issue is happening on android tv application only. I tried it from another TV and also from the new Google TV Chromecast and I faced the same issue. It's working fine from my phone and tablet though.

I hope this help narrowing it down.

Regards

Same problem here on Nvidia Shield and Fire TV. Some trailers work and some times they don't. It will sit and buffer while still showing the loading screen of the trailer. Sometimes if I wait a couple minutes it might play the trailer.

It seems none of the trailers play on the Nvidia shield or the fire tv

Hi, do the same trailers play in the emby web app?

Has this been addressed with any of the beta releases?

It has, in 2.0.33 and now current 2.0.34. It has also been pushed on Google so you should receive the update sometime soon(ish) if you're not keen on sideloading.

Tenacious

Have the exact same issue on Xiaomi Mi TV Box S Media Player.

Works fine through web browser. I had downgraded the Trailers verison to 1.2.4 and it fixed the issue but the plugin just auto updated to 1.3.0 (even though I disabled auto updates) and problem returned.
