Remote Video Quality for nephew

He only has 25 Mbps AT&T DSL or ADSL. All I know it is the old copper. It is all he can get from AT&T where he lives :( Hoping Fiber gets to him in 5 years or less.

Should we keep his Remote Video Quality to Auto or put it to 20 or 25 Mbps ?

He has around 3 to 5 devices if it matters.

Hi, he could also run into ISP throttling. I'd probably start low, then raise as you see success.

Did you try setting it to a low value and then raising as you see success?

No but will try soon. Thank you!

Wish it was possible to do remotely but it is ok. Would be nice to add as a feature though!

My nephew is 2 hours to 3 hours away but I can have him do it for me. Just easier if I could do it myself.

You can use his user permissions to cap his remote streaming quality. Then even if he has specified a higher setting on his end, it will never exceed the value you set on the server.
