  1. Hi, so i reorganized my YT Backup/downloaded library to include more metadata. I am basically using <Videotitle> - <Uploaddate> - <YTVideoid>. but instead of registering for example 2022-05-14 as full date it detects it as from the year 20220514. Any idea how to fix it or define certain positions in the file name as year / month / day bc when you count the letters from the back of the file name the yt id is 11 characters on every video then space - space and then the date Regards :)

    Cannot playback M4A ?

Hi, Seems Emby is not able to play M4A files created by youtube-dl (and avconv in process), it complains about missing compatible streams: in logs (attached) I found: 2021-09-21 20:20:55.905 Error App: Error in ffprobe *** Error Report *** Version: 4.6.4.0 Command line: /app/emby/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /config -ffdetect /app/emby/ffdetect -ffmpeg /app/emby/ffmpeg -ffprobe /app/emby/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 Operating system: Linux version 5.10.0-8-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc-10 (Debian 10.2.1-6) 10.2.1 20210110, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.35.2) #1 S Framework: .NET Core 3.1.13 OS/Process: x64/x64 Runtime: app/emby/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 4 Data path: /config Application path: /app/emby System.Exception: System.Exception: ffprobe failed for file:"/data/music/MP3/!YT Playlists/Trance/[Trance] Female Vocal Trance (Voices in my Head) #119-fr-26o5PNq4.m4a" - streams and format are both null: { ffprobe version 4.3.0-emby_2021_02_27 Copyright (c) 2007-2021 the FFmpeg developers and softworkz for Emby LLC built with gcc 8.3.0 (crosstool-NG 1.24.0) [aac @ 0xe647c0] Audio object type SBR+21 is not implemented. 3. hello all, i just started learning python and wrote a script that (using youtbe-dl) takes a list of youtube channels/playlists and downloads the vids, renames them to emby's tv library naming standards, moves them into your emby library. once emby has generated NFO files for them, the script will also insert the aired date and year for each episode based on the date the video was uploaded. as i'm not great at python, i was wondering if some folks who are that might be interested in using this script would mind taking it and playing with it. i feel like with some tweaking, it could be of more use to the broader emby community. just post here or PM me and i'll send you the script with the instructions on how to use. i dont want to post it publicly yet incase theres some huge bug. don't want to ruin anyones library EDIT: sorry for the long delay, life got crazy. attached is the script and instructions. ytd_20200724_public.zip
  4. Hi everyone, I have downloaded some videos from youtube but the json appears like something wierd (No paragraphs, no clickable links,no actors(Usually the name of the youtube channel) etc..) I whant to suggest to do something like plex have done to allow users to click on the links in the description and they have some more stuff like appear the actor info (Not sure if you can do that on emby "appear youtube channel as a actor") btw this is some printscreen to show you what i mean. It can be usefull to be able to read it like that (Paragraphs, clickable links, and if possible show the actor name like on plex (But not sure if this is possible) by the way the Paragraphs and Clickable links can be very usefull. This is just a minor update i guess So in emby it looks like that. And i also can report than the date is not correct it show me the years like that (20190513) on years filter. Thanks to take advantage of this feature request. Kind Regards
