  1. Hey Emby Team, I hope this message finds you well. I've been encountering a peculiar issue with audio playback in the Emby app on my primary device, an Android phone (SM-J600G, Android 10). This problem has persisted for about a year, and I thought it's high time to bring it to your attention. Description: The issue manifests when attempting to play songs from my music library. Occasionally, the selected song takes an unusually long time to play, and I notice that the media playback notification doesn't display the image of the selected song. Subsequently, any subsequent attempts to play songs from my music library fail. Strangely enough, the tracks, albums, or playlists that I attempted to play during this issue spontaneously start playing later when I'm not using the app, or when watching movies or shows. Observations: Selected song takes longer to play. No image of the selected song in the media playback notification. Behavior: Unable to play any song from the music library when the issue occurs. Version Information: Emby Server Version: 4.8.0.63 beta Emby Android App Version: 3.3.56 (latest pre-release) Device Information: Model: SM-J600G Android Version: 10 Steps to Reproduce: Launch Emby app. Select a song from the music library. Observe the two signs mentioned above. Additional Notes: I haven't had the opportunity to test this on other devices as my current setup revolves around this primary device. This issue has been persistent since I started using Emby, and its intermittent nature makes it challenging to pinpoint the root cause. I'm reaching out to the community and the Emby team for insights and assistance in resolving this matter. Thanks for your time and support! Best, Dinesh Shrestha

    Music UX improvement

I would like to propose some changes to the Music section UX, which I think would bring some improvements. After playing in there and using the music section for a while, some things I've noticed are a little bit annoying. I will refer at this image, red notations representing sections and yellow ones buttons. 1: When making queues on the go, I want to click the 3 dots button (button #3) to reveal the menu. The problem is if you hover to long over the image, the black cover with thumbs appears and a click over the button #3 will start the album's playback. This will just kill your queue and play the first track. I suggest that the button #3 always stays on top, or that area #1 remains uncovered: this could allow for other futur buttons next to #3 that would remain uncovered. Leaving the buttons on top seems to be the best option though. 2: Everywhere in Emby, clicking the thumb or poster image will get you to a detailed page. In the music section though, this just starts playing the album. If you want to access the detailed page, you need to click the 3 dots to get to the alternate menu, then click open. This is confusing and should be kept the same all over the app: clicking the poster (like area #4) should bring you to the detailed page of the item. Plus, "navigation" clicks happen way more often than "play" clicks. Thus, clicking the thumb or poster should be used for navigation and not playback. For the same reason, I think that area #2 should also bring to the detail page and not start playback. For playback, there is a "play" button that serves this purpose. In area #2, only the yellow buttons should represent other actions than getting to the detail page. Tell me what you think 3psus
  3. Hi, I have some problems I can't solve. I searched for answers on the forum, and only for some of them I found a solution. 1. Movie Theme Songs: Works fine, but not perfect. Because when I enter into my media collection, the song is playing well, and the backdrops image is not rotating as usually, just stuck in the first picture. The above doesn't happen when there is no song theme in the media folder to play. Sometimes when the song begins, he play for a second or two, then returns to the beginning again and work well. 2. Menus: Sometimes, When I scrolling through my collections. I click right or left button to the next film and the selection jumps forward number of movies. The second thing - Is there a way to lock the menu bar at the top end as it was possible in previous themes, so there will not be able to choose the top menus? I'm using a theme ROC, and there are lots pop-ups with messages, it is very bothers and I want to disable this option. Can it? 3. Trailers Is the trailers download and stored somewhere? If not, is there an option to save them? So that will not be required to buffer the trailers every time I want to see? One last thing about the trailers, when I click on the icon of the trailer is played but the video window does not appear. You need to click on the icon "screen magnification" to see it. A lot of questions, but I would appreciate to get some answers, and if there are Unknown problems than it happy to help in improving the user experience. Rafi
