  1. A few years ago I found Emby, and I began encoding my thousands of DVDs and Blue-Ray into a personal family library that we could all share, wherever we were in the world, whenever we wanted. I started with a few quirks and questions, but eventually I got it setup smoothly on a headless linux server, with a domain name of its own, for easy access, and a premium license. Today, I finished encoding the last disc in my library. ~12TB of movies and shows. I've received high praise from my inlaws because how safe they know the ratings and categories I've set up are for their kids. It has been a marvellous success, and worth the time and money to do. What with all the 'corporate' services now pushing to groom and abuse children. Thank you Emby Team. You have my thanks for making such a wonderful piece of software. Keep up the good work. Don't go the political route. Stay concerned with the user and experience.
  2. I just want to say thanks to Luke and all the other developers out there that are hammering away day in and day out on updates, squashing bugs, responding to the community, and just being all-around great guys. Your time, talent, and effort means so much to me and the community. This includes those who help out on the forums with support issues, and all the other stuff behind the scenes. I have to say... you guys impress me all the time with your expertise, care and concern, and even how patient you are.

    Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to all the developers and testers etc for building such a fantastic product.. Whilst I may be having some difficulties upgrading my server right now, the version that is working for me is working pretty much perfectly, and my family love it! You guys have all brought the product such a long way since the original media browser.. So good, that despite having paid/supported MB3, I also paid for the premier support (life-time) for Emby.. i figured it was worth it, even though I understood I could have taken the supporter key i had for MB3 through to Emby.. I just wanted to show you guys some thanks! Fantastic product! It's so good, that I've actually invested in serious hardware etc to run everything, will end up with a 60 TB NAS in the end for all my content, and a distinct blade or similar to run the server (although now i'm running the beta version of the server on my RS2416+)... Thanks again... great work, can't wait to see what comes next!
  4. Every once in a while a thread like this pops up but I just wanted to throw out a thank you to the Mediabrowser team! Over the last couple of years you guys have really done an amazing job for something that is virtually free. I can only imagine the time and effort that goes into something like this and I ask for people to remember that. Now I'm like everyone else and want all the latest bells and whistles asap but I would like to see more props given to these people that without their time and abilities we wouldn't have any of this! So thanks again to everyone whether they are designing the core and apps, doing tutorials, creating themes, icons or intros. Every little bit helps make this the best home theater software out there!
