Hello I have a nice setup with movies and music on Emby première. I'm really happy I have a family so i created 4 accounts. Today i add content in my movies libraries, i make scan, refresh firefox... perfect on the web interface and on my iphone app with my dad account, all the content is here ! The problem is for my son, the content he see have 1 week back (few days) but i can't see the new files. The strange thing is, the movies he see are in the state of 1 week back with all the files. But all the new files are hiddens. I edit the fules of his profil, now he have all right (but not delete) and he doesn't' see the new content. i click on the movie folder and refresh files, nothing appears. i make a full scan, nothing appears. I don't have see cache options on the android app... or force db refresh i don't know... i'm very confuse. i think i would delete the account of my son and recreate it, but it's anormal. hello, @ll; as a complete newby to Emby, I am wondering about some smaller aspects of music metadata handling; specifically: are all metadata amendments caused by Emby stored on Emby only? Or will they get written back into the individual files's taggage = sync back down to my actual library?(like : play and skip count/s, genre updates) etc. will genre information written by Emby's information enrichment be added to prexisting genre information on a track or will it replace pre-existing genres? + (probably floating around here somewhere already, but I haven't been able to spot it) : is there an/y ETA on when Emby might get dynamic playlists with smart filters? (such as "genre contains {x}") and multi-level sorting (to achieve a} by playcount descending with b} skip count ascending etc.) Thank you for what feedback you may be able to provide. Dear all, Let me introduce my context and then ask you what can be done with Emby: 1) My context: Kodi (17.4 Krypton with Misfit Mod AM Smooth Build) installed on: Windows10 Desktop, FireTV Stick, H96 Android tv dongle Synology NAS currently empty (no multimedia content). I have installed Emby. 2) What I would like to do: When updating the current Kodi Build I am using, when removing the current Build and uploading a new Build, when adding new addons on the Kodi installed on my desktop, then I would like to have all other devices updated at the same time. Let me know if I can do this with Emby. What would be the best tutorial/video that would guide me through the steps to have this setup? Many thanks for your feedback. OCdR.

I have a problem where audio slowly loses sync behind the video, which I thought was unusual (as opposed to audio getting ahead, which is more typical). It starts to be obvious after about 5 minutes. If I skip forward and then skip back in the player (or vice versa), the audio and video will jump back in sync. So far this only happens with 29.97 video combined with 2 channel AAC audio. It doesn't happen with any other audio (2-5 channel DTS, AC3) or video, although I don't have any 24p/AAC files to test with, nor have I tried 2-channel MP3, uncompressed, etc. I have tried various combinations of player and mixer settings, and none seem to have any effect on the sync problem. However, I don't really understand how all these settings work, and I couldn't find any good documentation on them. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! My settings:
