I think it would be nice if there were a content type for libraries called "Standup Comedy" that would sort titles in named rows instead of in traditional movie/file format. So instead of seeing 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 We would see: Name 1 2 3 4 Name 5 6 Name 7 Name 8 This way we could have a Standup Comedy folder that had subfolders of comedians' names, and then in those folders would be their titles that would then be sorted in a title block or a scrollable column.

Feature Request Even though it was stairing me in the face, I’ve finally figured out how to seperate my library into Films, TV Series, Kids Films, Kids TV Series, Stand-up Comedy, Documentaries, etc... and I must say I’m loving it! What I would say though is although my Stand-up comedy searches / scrapes like it would for Movies, how I want them displayed is different and so takes alot of manual editing / messing arround. I scanned this new Stand-up Comedy folder into my libary and seperated them from my Movies. This gave my a Stand-up Comedy Shortcut on my home screen. In there under the Movies section (Should really be called Stand-up Comedy...) I had most listed as seperate DVD’s, but some where grouped into boxsets. It really looked messy. I had to edit collections for each Comedian and add there DVD’s. For comedians with just one DVD I had to make a new folder in C:\Users\HTPC\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\data\collections and edit the collection.xml file to get it to show up in the Collections section on the Metadata Editor. I have also locked each comedian’s collection so that it doesn’t change back to how it was on a library scrape I still have to manually add each new DVD to the comedian‘s collection and I will also have to manually edit new comedians, but it's worth it for the end result (post #4 & #5) So after all that, here’s my Feature requests / Questions; A way to change the “Movie” header to “Stand-up Comedy” or whatever the Library folder’s name is (if it’s not included in the Movies / TV). Ability to easily add a collection manually without editing XML files etc. Make this automated by creating a library option for Stand-up Comedy so it still searches / scrapes TheMovieDB / IMDB but organises / groups them by Comedian like post #4.

Hi everyone, First off, I would like to say thanks to anyone involved in the creation of Media Browser. Simply amazing work. Anyways, I did some searching around the forums, and couldn't find anything about this specific issue. I am having a little trouble with my folder system, specifically for my stand-up comedy specials. My movies and TV shows are working perfectly, fetching metadata, images, etc. But I cannot seem to get the comedy folders to work properly. Right now I have it set up as Comedy>[Comedian Name]>[special Name (Year)]>[Filename] So in Windows Explorer, one example would look like this: F:\Comedy\Gallagher\Mad as Hell (1981)\Mad as Hell (1981).mp4 My issue is that I am not getting the images, coverart, metadata, etc. to download. I am getting the [filename-poster.jpg] file that is pulled from the video, but that's it. I know that I have some lesser-known specials, or ones that may not have coverart available from the normal sources, like the one I mentioned above. But I'm not even getting the info for the well-known ones, like Jim Gaffigan. Side question: Is there any way to prevent incorrect info from being downloaded? For example, if there is a movie or TV show that shares a name with another, more popular movie or TV show, the metadata and images for the more popular one generally gets downloaded. Any help that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
