Hi, I like watch k-dramas, c-dramas etc. Some dramas I can not find in themoviedb or tvdb to grab the metadata, specially the backgrounds and covers. Would be nice to have https://mydramalist.com/ as source of information. Thanks

I was wondering how I can add a website as a folder/source. For example if I wanted to add https://download.blender.org/apricot/trailer/ how would I do this?

Hi, I'm sure I missed something here, but is there any reason why the latest stable release (3.5) source code is not available for download from Github? In https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/releases the latest available version for download is 3.4.1.18-beta. There are no newer source code releases. From where can I download the source code for 3.5? Should I go to the commit for 3.5 and download that point in time of the source tree? Thanks.

Hello experts, I'm a KODI user, with Emby for KODI addon installed (LibreELEC / KODI 17). I have an external usb disk, which isn't always plugged, plus it's on a remote computer (another room). If this usb disk is plugged on the remote computer, a script mounts it in LibreELEC as a network cifs share (if unplugged, it's unmounted). But, it seems Emby doesn't detect the changes : - it doesn't appear automatically in library sources if i try to add a new folder (seems normal). - if i try to restart Emby (i did a "systemctl restart service.emby.service"), I notice Emby restarts itself, then i see the mountpoint's path created, but without any subfolders from the share. Folders are accessible in LibreELEC after the mount. How can Emby detect changes in mount points ? Thanks for your assistance. Regards,

Hi As I like to learn stuff and build packages of my own I compiled every new version of Emby in a docker container. Since the update to 3.2.19 my script broke. I checked it and found that the folder Linux_Build_Scripts that was in the Tools folder before, is now gone along with MediaBrowser.Mono.Build.sh I looked on the github page a bit and couldn't find any documentation how I should build Emby now. Is there any documentation on how to build/compile Emby from source available? Greetings toneman77

Emby Theater - Display DVD/Blu-Ray/HDDVD Label for Media Stub Source Flags
funwithmedia posted a topic in Feature Requests
In Emby Theater if you have a DVD folder rip, Emby Theater displays the label "DVD". Presumably it does similar things for Blu-ray, HDDVD, etc. Since Media Stubs support "source flags," it would be useful/helpful if Emby Theater would display the corresponding label (eg, DVD, Blu-ray, HDDVD, etc.) derived from the source flag (otherwise, what's the point of the source flags?). This both informs the user of what type of disc they're looking for (in the event that one organizes their discs by format), as well as giving some indication of the resolution of the disc (inferred simply by format), which is pertinent for instances where a user also has a given movie available via services like Vudu, perhaps in a higher resolution. Thanks! PS - If this is something you might like to see implemented, be sure to "Like" this top/first post (as well as any subsequent posts in this thread that highlight particular aspects of what you are interested in) -- "Liking" the top/first post helps the Devs to know how much interest there is in a given Feature Request.- 2 replies

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to apply treatments to cover art by the media source. Currently, my library is configured as below:- \\SERVER\Movies \\SERVER\Movies\Blu-Ray \\SERVER\Movies\Downloaded \\SERVER\Movies\DVD \\SERVER\TV \\SERVER\TV\Blu-Ray \\SERVER\TV\Downloaded \\SERVER\TV\DVD \\SERVER\TV\HDTV \\SERVER\TV\SDTV CoverArt is configured with individual profiles for media source \\SERVER\TV\Blu-Ray with a specific treatment of... BD items will use the BD cover My files are named:- Name.SXXEXX.V:CO-A:CO.Q:A-V:SO.ext I was wondering if it is possible to apply the cover treatment by the V:SO (Video Source) in the filename?

Hello All, I have recently started testing/playing with Emby... and needless to say again what a nice work you did. I know there are integration projects with other solutions like KODI... My understanding is Emby provides: - media management - transcoding & streaming Why not adding/enabling UPNP source for media management? I think it could make sense for many people who have KODI (or other tools) as a central solution and do not wish to change that (rescan, update with plugins...) even if it does not provide full features of the plugin you have today. This is how BubbleUPNP works today. regards, PS: shall i put that in 'feature request'? For now it is more an idea and a discussion...
