  1. Team, 1. Has anyone found success in getting Emby Theater to open and close using a standard ehome TV Remote? 2. Likewise with Cyberlink PowerDVD15? (or any version) Are there any command line arguments that help when using PowerDVD as an external player other than just {Path}?

    powerdvd 16

Hello All, I was wondering if anyone was using Powerdvd 16 as an sxternal player in new Emby Theater? If so, which exe did you select, and did you enter any arguments? Does it minimize ET? Does it close Powerdvd 16 abd gring focus back to ET? Ang help would be appreciated.
  3. Please like this post if you agree. This will let the developers know that people actually want this feature. I am requesting that external players be put in use by tag. Primarily, 3D tag. What this means is that if a movie is tagged as 3D-SBS or more importantly MVC, then a third party player can be set up to play this file. With many films, they can all be in MKV containers, but there's no real way to distinguish them aside from tags. In this way, you can decide if a third party player is required to play a file based on that tag. For example, if I have a 3D movie in MVC format in an MKV container made by MakeMKV, I can then tell emby theater to play it in stereoscopic player or PowerDVD, etc. This request is being made because I personally tore my hair out all weekend trying madvr, lav, windows media player, kodi, emby theater and about six other setups trying to get things to work, and only stereoscopic player would work. Therefore I am making this request in order that those of us with large 3D libraries can have Emby Theater working with stereoscopic. Again, if you agree, please like this post. The devs judge the popularity of features by likes. Cheers!
  4. Hi, The ISO mounting feature of MBT seems to be not working properly on my end. I did google on this already and search the forums, tried every solution posted to no avail. Everytime I try to play the iso file, all I get is a no disc error from TMT or PowerDVD. How can I fix this? 2014-09-29 22:43:55.3211 Info - App: Mounting I:\ServerFolders\Videos\3D\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011)\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011).iso 2014-09-29 22:43:55.3211 Debug - App: Start 2014-09-29 22:43:55.3211 Debug - App: Status ERROR: 3 Unable to open mount file "I:\ServerFolders\Videos\3D\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011)\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011).iso". 2014-09-29 22:43:55.3211 Error - App: Complete 3 Unable to open mount file "I:\ServerFolders\Videos\3D\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011)\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011).iso". 2014-09-29 22:43:55.3211 Error - App: Error mounting iso I:\ServerFolders\Videos\3D\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011)\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011).iso Unable to start mount for I:\ServerFolders\Videos\3D\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011)\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011).iso System.IO.IOException at MediaBrowser.IsoMounter.PismoIsoManager.<Mount>d__2.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at MediaBrowser.Theater.Presentation.Playback.GenericExternalPlayer.<GetIsoMount>d__5.MoveNext() 2014-09-29 22:43:55.3211 Info - App: C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDVD14\PDVDLP.exe "I:\ServerFolders\Videos\3D\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011)\Captain America - The First Avenger (2011).iso" /PLAY Karl

    MB3 in WMC Win8.1

Posted this question to AVS and was referred here. I have a few noobie questions as I've just been introduced to MB3. As I am trying to get things touched up on Win8.1 WMC, in the meantime I have installed MB3 theater. Ideally, I would like to utilize WMC for all my media but I have ran into a few problems with MB3 classic via WMC. Everytime I replace an MKV file, WMC fails to play. What I mean by replace an MKV file is, I've ripped a few movies and discovered they were DD instead of DTS-HD. I deleted the DD file, re-ripped the BD with the DTS-HD, but now the new DTS-HD MKV rip doesn't play in WMC. With that said here are a few questions: For WMC MB3, does anyone use an external player? I added PowerDVD as an external player but when I play a movie it opens PowerDVD in desktop mode (doesn't seem seamless). I guess I could have it open PowerDVD maximized and one wouldn't really be able to tell that it is running in desktop mode. This does, however, make it so that I cannot just press the "back" button on my remote and get back to the MB3 menu. Unless I'm missing something. This question might not be totally unapplicable to MB3 but I'll post anyway. When I rip movies (I have done with DVDfab - mkv passthrough and makemkv) I'm assuming that these ripping processes will rip the movies in their native frame rates and resolution? When I play a BD with PowerDVD 13 Ultra, my Samsung TV adjusts its input and momentarily displays 1080p@60 then the screen goes black and immediately comes back with and momentarily displays 1080p@24. With ripped movies though, playing through MB3 or even PowerDVD the screen doesn't do this. So is the movie playing at 60hz then? Thanks for all the help I'm really new to the HTPC world and especially the ripping movie world.
  6. Hi, have any sorted out how to use an external player like TMT6 to play folderBD/iso ? So far MPC-HC is working just fine, but TMT6 just starts, but no movie is loaded. I've tried the {PATH} but it does not work, TMT6 just starts but does not load up any movie.. Is there any solution for this? Thanks
