Guide Do not display Logos or channel numbers on left, only the name

I use the IPTV plugin on Emby. I have the following problem: On the web-based display, I can turn off the display of logos and channel numbers, and it only shows the channel name in the left column in bold. This is very readable at a distance, and that is what I prefer. On the Android TV app, I cannot turn off the display of logos and channel numbers in the left column. When seated in a chair, it's not possible to see the channel logo as it is made smaller to display the channel number, which is very large and bold. For me, channel numbers are useless anyway, since I have so many channels. I use favorites to keep the channels I want listed first. What I want is for the channel name only to be displayed in the left column. That would be readable across the room and USEFUL. Thanks

Hi There, Accept my apologies I know this topic is posted already, but the solutions did not apply for me. I am having issue with channel logos loading. the source type for the EPG I am using is XmlTV, the EPG and M3U List I have is annually paid from IPTVSpring. if I manually go into each channel and edit image and then post the image link it will appear there after the task is run manually or automatically. (See my screenshot attached). additional info may need. * My Emby server runs on Windows OS. * I have lifetime Emby subscription * I have removed the EPG and reloaded. * I have backed up and removed all metadata for Live channels.

Just wondering if the Display Logo Images as titles on detail screens feature will come to the AppleTV app. Understandable if it doesn’t, just curious

Been having a play today after seeing Disney's logos from Disney+ Platform. I am no Photoshop expert so please be gentle. I'll keep updating what I make. I'll put the PSD into the share once i'm done. So if anybody doesn't like the colours they can change it.. It very basic. Has something changed with Channel logos? I have been changing logos since I started using Emby without issue. Drag/drop upload and the image is there. Now what I am seeing is they are being clipped or resized. Has something changed with logo dimensions? Screenshot attached of what I am seeing - "Emby" is what I am now seeing in Emby, "nbcHD" is the logo I am uploading Thanks for reading and any help!

No matter how pretty you make a channel logo, it still can't compare with respect to readability to that of pure text. This should probably be done as a client option rather than a server option. I'm using the AndroidTV client on an Nvidia Shield at 1080p resolution on a 55" TV. I can see how this would look by deleting the logo via the metadata options and having it revert to what the tvg-name tag contains. I'd much rather just see the tvg-name contents rather than the logo. Tivo makes this an option for the same reason. A lot of channel logos are very difficult to read or differentiate between each other. Deleting the logo isn't a solution that lasts because the guide sources will pull them back in.

Hi, I have just done a complete fresh install using the latest emby server (3.2.27) on Windows 10. Some of the Live TV logos look corrupted (see attached). All the logos are .png format and appear fine when viewing them standalone or in Kodi. The TV backend is DVBLink. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

I previously went through and added channel logos to each channel in windows media center and after installing and configuring servers mc and the server plugin, all of the logos transferred offer perfectly. However, now every channel shows the FoxHD logo.. I've tried manually changing them in the metadata manager on the server, but the next time serverwmc updated, it changed all the logos back to FoxHD.. The channel numbers ang guide listings are accurate, but the logos are driving me nuts! Any suggestions?

I have created some Boxset logos for my personal use and thought I could share here. Feel free to use as you would like. They look better in Mediabrowser than just plain text on your boxsets.
