  1. As there are apparently no keyboard or remote keys for being able to change channel (as mentioned by Luke on this thread: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/79408-what-are-the-keyboard-shorcuts/ ) Can I please request that these be added as a matter of urgency. Theater for windows/xbox does not have a guide overlay and without being able to use channel up and down buttons means you have to back out of the stream, back to the guide and then select a channel from there and wait for it to start. Basic 'feature' that any set-top box should have is a up/down channel button. Whilst you are there can a shortcut be made to quickly switch users, or at least bring up the settings strip menu you normally get when you navigate and click your profile picture. At the moment to switch user you have to have a minimum of 5-6 click of a remote or keyboard to be bale to navigate there.
  2. This functionality may already exist, but if so I haven't been able to trigger it. I love the Emby Theater "Screensaver" -- it is a great way to be reminded of various titles in my library. It would be nifty if there were a key-combo that would take the user directly to item currently being displayed by the Emby Theater "Screensaver." It's fun seeing various items being displayed, but then it is a pain to have to go search for them! I propose one of the following key-combos be used (these are from Keyboard and Remote Support): control-d (which normally "shows menu or info for selected content"). spacebar (which normally "toggles play/pause"). Windows media "play" command. There's pros and cons to each, but my thinking is we should use an existing command that would make somewhat intuitive sense for taking the user to the item being displayed, while also not being something that one might commonly use to exit the "screensaver" (which in my opinion makes "spacebar" less ideal for this purpose). The good news is that even if the user accidentally triggers this functionality they should be able to use the "Back" command to go back to the previous screen. And I think an existing command is preferable to a brand new command because a remote has a limited number of buttons and it is undesirable to have to dedicate one to this functionality when an existing key-combo could be re-purposed for this context. PS - If this is something you might like to see implemented, be sure to "Like" this top/first post (as well as any subsequent posts in this thread that highlight particular aspects of what you are interested in) -- "Liking" the top/first post helps the Devs to know how much interest there is in a given Feature Request.
  3. I am new to Emby from Plex. I was really tired of the poor performance and numerous bugs ruining my library. Anyway, so far I like everything about Emby, server, media recognition and responsiveness. The only issue I have is with the browser playback, specifically Chrome, but the issue happens in Firefox as well. Standard playback controls work like pause/play with spacebar, fullscreen with F and skip ahead/back with shift+arrow keys. The audio control does not work, I tried up/down arrows with and without shift, the ones that I found on the web F9/F10 and nothing works to control the audio level with a keyboard. It does work if I control the slider with the mouse, and as long as the audio adjustment indicator is overlayed on the video the up/down arrows work to adjust the audio. But as soon as it disappears the controls no longer work. I am not sure if I am missing something or using it wrong. Any tips or advise? Thanks
