Obviously the Shield does. I used to have a 2017 Shield but have sold it. I've read that the latest Fire Cube 3rd gen and Fire Stick 4K Max both support HD audio bitstreaming. Most of the articles mention Plex and it seems everything definitely works in Kodi.I plan to buy the 4k Max. Can anyone recommend the best setup? Right now I have an older FireStick4K. I tried to test things with Kodi, tried v20 and 21. Tried EmbyCon and it has plaback errors on every item. Plus the embuary skin from Kodi store didn't install, I tried the skin from Emby beta repo - Esturary Embycon, and it only showed 2 menu items - movies and tv recently added/in progress, nothing like Embuary screenshots, and it fails to play. Next I tried to install the latest Emby Next gen 10.x, and it failed to install. I'd appreciate if someone can tell me how to get a setup that looks like native Emby but gives me full playback on the newer Fire Tv devices. Or does the Emby Android/Ftv client natively support HD audio on these 2 devices, which would be great too.

It's been a while since I've posted in the forums (personal issues). Just installed Emby Theater 2.0 and have to say it's just so smooth and easy to use and the biggest plus it will allow me to move over from Emby Classic and WMC. The only one negative I have is I can't seem to get any of my movies to bitstream DTS-HD or TrueHD. I get all these from Emby Classic in WMC (TMT5 as external player) and also MPC-HD via the LAV filter. I use a mixutre of fileformats, Bluray folder rips and MKV and these are absolutely fine. My HTPC is connected via the HDMI through a AMD Radeon HD 7800 to a Pioneer VSX1122k and bitstreams audio absolutley fine with the players I mentioned, but Emby Theater is a no go. So basically, can anyone point me in the right direction?
