  1. Hello, Pushing out a question for Emby gurus and hopefully someone can help. Background: Started using MB back ~ 10 yr ago and still using today. I have always liked and supported MB but because I started my movie DB some time ago most of my movie files are full copies and placed in directories containing the original file structure of VOB (VTS_01) structure (My collection containing ~ 360 movies). Issue: I am now running a new instance of MB on a win 10 machine and everything seemed to great except for some titles will only play the first VOB file in the directory and stop. I suspect I have damaged or corrupted filed when I moved over a large about of data to the new machine. I ran the MB conversion on the problem file and that fix it and made a MKV file that plays fine. Here's my question, is there a tool that I can run in a batch mode that will scan all directories ( folders) containing the file structure for each movie and repair if found to be damaged? My other option is to convert my entire DB to MKV. Can I run MD conversion and covert the entire contents of a Library folder from the home screen using MB? Thx Bw

    Music Videos - File Naming

A quick question as I am a bit confused by Music Video file structures. I am sorting out my music videos on my server and I think I have it right in that the music videos are stored in a Music Video share on the UnRAID server as: Server/Music Videos/artist name/artist name - track name.ext Example Server/Music Videos/ABBA/ABBA - Dancing Queen.mp4 And all other ABBA videos are in the same folder. The Share is listed as a Music Video folder in Emby. However, what do I do for my music videos that are in *.VOB format? These are under a VIDEO_TS folder Do I put them Server/Music Videos/artist name/artist name - track name/VIDEO_TS/artist name - track name.vob or should I be doing something else instead? The Wiki is quite unhelpful for music videos - it just says it's the same as for movies...
  3. Multi-disc or multi-file movies used to display with the cover art overlayed with a number in a small green circle to show how many items there were - a main movie and a bonus dis, for example. Sometime in the past month, the display now shows each of the items as a separate selection. I've checked the file structure wiki stuff, and it's not changed. My local file structure hasn't changed. Here's what's worked in the past, and now doesn't: /Spiderman folder.jpg backdrop.jpg folder.xml /Extras backdrop.jpg folder.jpg Extras.nfo movie.xml /VIDEO_TS Etc /Movie backdrop.jpg (and 4 more) Folder.jpg Movie.nfo movie.xml /VIDEO_TS Etc Any help appreciated. al

[MB Intros] File Name Air by Date

Within MBC using both Chocolate or ROC MB Intros is executing when I attempt to play any episode of The Daily Show. This occurs from either the EHS or within collection view. Only way to avoid is by pressing the play button while on the poster (of course this does not work at the EHS and TDS has thousands of episodes which makes navigating to them cumbersome). I am using the air-by-date file naming scheme within Sickbeard (SB has been managing this and all my other shows for years) and the show is within the TV collection and file structure. This is the only show out of a couple hundred I have noticed this on and never had a problem previously. The file structure is as follows: \\server\television\The Daily Show with Jon Stewart\The Daily Show with Jon Stewart - 2012-11-15 - Andrew Napolitano.mkv Is this now an invalid convention or a bug within MB Intros?
