UI and double tap to seek issue

Request to move the settings bar/quick settings back to the lower side of bar so that the brightness bar can be usable like in the old UI(pic1). Also, request to add back double seek if it has been removed, if not, it's not working. (taken from celsian post) New UI
  2. Dear all, I am using Emby for quite a while now. Really love it. But I stumbled across a issue. I have a TV Show with +100 Episodes, I need the subtitles for it, since it is not my motherlanguage. Sadly there where no subtitles delivered with this show, and OpenSubtitles found some for me, but I have to delay the subtitles for each episode to 10 seconds (10'000 ms). Since the delay can only be changed by +50 or -50 ms, that is quite a tapping and tapping to get there. I just wanted to ask or bring up the topic, that a simpler way to set the delay would be veeery appreciated. Note: Yes I did try to edit the Subtitles .sr file myself to delay it, but that breaks the episode (video and audio is laggy) Thank you very much in advance!
  3. The ASK - It would be outstanding if we could add a LastAccessedDate to the API calls for EMBY. One possible location could be GetItems, FIelds=LastAccessedDate. I do see that there is a Last Played Date that is recorded per an individual playing the content. This should make this a relatively "trivial" addition by defaulting the field to False and writing the Last Played Date to it anytime anyone plays the content. If you want to take it a step further, anytime anyone plays the content continuously for longer than X minutes. The distinction here is a global last accessed date independent of each user's current Last Played Date. The WHY - One of the staples of content management is the ability to determine an item's last access date as it determines the relevance of an item. Most of us do not have unlimited storage, which means if something has never been accessed or played in two years, it is evident that no one cares to have it on there; as such, it should be removed. This could also be helpful data to display internally for those not leveraging API calls. While PLEX did not have this data natively, the ability to pipe Tautulli into the system did allow you to have the data accessible in a programmatic way. The WORKAROUND - The only way I can see to accomplish this today (natively) would be to pull a list of all users. All of their individual last played data, combine, clean up the data, restrict to a date/time window of interest, compare with the entire list, and remove the difference. This, unfortunately, will likely be the path I head down as my need is more immediate. But what could essentially be a single line or two of code to accomplish has now become a multi-series set of loops to build a dataset that can be used for this purpose. I appreciate your consideration, and if I am missing something blatant, please let me know.
  4. Morning all, I'd like to propose a change to the way season folders are named in the DLNA structure. Currently after selecting a show from the DLNA listing you are presented with a season folder list named with the following formatting * Show Name - Season 01 * Show Name - Season 02 etc.. I'd like to propose that the Show Name prefix is removed from the way this info is served to a DLNA client. The reason being is that for long show names my TV cuts off the end of the text and for a show with 30+ seasons I have to count down each one in the list to find the right season. I feel that the show name is superfluous data anyway since the show has already been selected and the current directory name will typically show at the top of the list. Further, individual episodes don't get the show name or season number added to them, only the episode number and episode name, so by changing how the season folders are named we'd be making the data presentation more consistent at each level. looking forward to hearing your thoughts
  5. Why It's troublesome to manage bottom up permissions (User -> Access -> Folder) and personally I think that a top down (User <- Access <- Folder) approach would be better (or both). I understand that changing access permission structure might be troublesome (or not desired by everyone) so I'd like to suggest something else instead Feature I think it would be a good idea to have a setting in the "Libraries" that allows you to make a folder hidden by default. That way when you add a new user you don't have to worry to much about them having access to all the folders and it improves user management. It's a good solution for servers that have a lot of users to manage. This isn't a must have but more of "Quality of life" feature. How These changes would have to be implemented: 1. Add the setting to the Libraries under "Advanced options" -> "Library Settings" 2. Disable "Enable access to all libraries" setting in the user access settings if any of the libraries (for that user) are hidden, and enable all but the hidden library. OR alternatively... disable "Enable access to all libraries" (so that the list of libraries shows up) for all users if any folders are hidden, then the hidden folder should not be enabled on the access list.

    enhanced notifications

Hey There, I want to ask if it is possible to enhance the notifications like this: I mean to get the possibility to use tags like {Title} - For the title {Description} - Description of the $stuff you added {Poster} - Post of the $stuff you added {Link} - Direct link to the Episode/Season (If add more the two Episodes during a scan)/Movie/$otherFile {imbd/tvdb/rottenTomatoes/...} - Link to $ratingPortal (Maybe cool, but really not necessary ) ShokiNN' P.S. I use my notifications with slack. P.P.S. The shown example is from PlexPy
