It would be great if the 'Auto Organise - overwrite existing movies' feature, only replaced files that were smaller in size and kept the larger file. IE I have multiple versions of same film but want to keep the best quality version only. Thanks

Completed MBS - Add a run auto-organise task button under auto-organise page
CashMoney posted a topic in Feature Requests
Yeah, yeah, I know it takes only a few minutes and I could alter the time it takes in the task schedule ... but (I'm lazy ... wait, did I type that out loud?) I was thinking that maybe a button to run the task manually on the auto-organise page might be useful, perhaps next to the clear button? That way everything do to with auto-organise would be under the same page with no waiting for the task to run, or having to go run the task manually under advanced - scheduled tasks then go back to auto-organise, before you can organise. It's not a problem often (or at all really) for me, but does seem to make a certain sense, and if I had to manually use auto-organise a lot it would come in handy. Having just done this and thought about it, figured I'd put in an FR in case other may also agree/want/need -
Hi All I've been trying to get Auto-organise to work and keep getting an access denied error message! I have both MBS and MBC on one machine (HTPC in the lounge, only turned on to watch stuff, not bothered about sharing the video files to other devices) and I have a tiny (atom based) file share that holds general documents, music, photos and downloaded material (obviously all legit!) I'm trying to get auto-organise to read the downloaded files from the server and store them properly on the HTPC. MBS is running as a service on the HTPC. The path in auto-organise is \\server\folder\folder and the folder on the server is shared to anyone but I still get an error when auto-organise runs saying 'xxxx is not accessible. access is denied', or something similar. Can anyone suggest what may be causing this? Many thanks!! Martin

HI all, I am new to MB3 although had MB2 and below for years. MB3 is great (except the no entry points thing that really sucks !) although I am finding a few dangerous things that my need a fix. I find it very worrying what video files just go missing and are not in the recycle bin just deleted of the face of the earth. This has been happening with MB3 and as it has access to my entire library I am concerned. What I have found is if I have a new TV Show I create a folder for it with my other shows and move one episode in there and refresh the library. I have all the other episodes in my downloads folder that Auto-organise is linked to so it can pickup the files and move them to the right folders. The other episodes came up in red in Auto-organise so I clicked Organise file and found the only thing missing is the TV show name, so I select it and save. Auto-organise now deletes the file. When I click Organise file again it says it will move the file from the downloads folder to the TV shows folder but the file was already moved to the TV Shows folder so it deletes it. It this a bug or am I missing something ? Also when MB deletes a media file is there a way it can always move it to the recycle bin instead of permanent delete in case its an error and I can retrieve it ? Thanks Michael
