  2. @Luke, As per my access issue with the Android Server on Shield. Please accept this Feature Request for a WebView UI on the Android Server. Hopefully this will enable Direct (localhost) Web App access to the server on Shield - WITHOUT Internet Access. Making a truly Stand-Alone media player. This would be perfect for RV travelers who go where there is no Internet Access - and I am sure there are many... Thanks Jordy

  4. Hi I have planned to build a dedicated music server through emby on my android tv box. But for some reason, emby is not able to access sd card. I have gone through some related forums and found that the sd card needs to be formatted as internal storage. But i have plans to attach hard drive later and i think its a little tedious to format hard drive as internal storage. Fortunately, my android box is rooted and i think i can use this as advantage to bypass the restriction somehow. What u all think?

  6. Hi there, apologies if this has been covered but I can't find an exact solution. I've been using the Android server on an old shield box to host my music library and everything is working fine, except that after an hour or so, I can't connect to the server from any device (or web interface) without rebooting the shield. The server appears to go offline. Any ideas as to what could be causing this, Kind regards

  8. Hi everyone I have a Zappiti 4k media player, which runs Android 6.0 box and I have kodi installed on it and running well. I just can't seem to figure out how to install emby server on this type of machine. I've followed the emby/kodi instructions and installed emby as an add on, but this doesn't install the server. Thanks for any help... Please help me before I'm bald as I'm pulling my hair out

    Android server?

Hey, I'm thinking about buying an Android TV and use it as an EMBY server, I think that considering how powerful and low consuming it is would be great, however I couldn't find any Android server app. Is there any intention to develop a server for Android's? Thanks!
