Hi, guys, Do you have (or plan, or accept) a feature that can watch a folder for changes? I mean, I have a download folder, to which my downloads are put. However I need to do a full library rescan every time I want to watch that particular movie. Since I have a fairly good connection, the library scan time is almost larger than the current download procedure. So it would be a very nice to have feature to have this folder watched, and processed, like as the whole scan does it. But in this case of course there won't be neccessary to scan all the other folders, so it's a win-win situation. What do guys think? Thanks, danergo

This may be a straightforward question, but is there a way to export all of the watch dates for each media by user (definitely movies, but TV shows would be nice as well)? If I remember correctly there was a database we could manipulate.

My RAID 5 crapped out and I can still get to all my data but I cannot start the Emby server to get a back up so need to know file location for the watch list. I've tried forum searches several ways but all I see are references to the back up plug in. I was running beta 4.4.0.30. I welcome locations of any other files that would be backed up by the plugin, the watch list is the priority

Emby Server - Preserve Watched Status of External-ID-less Files (such as Extras) When Moved
funwithmedia posted a topic in Feature Requests
Per another thread ( https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/38173-watched-status-resets-with-moves-between-library/&do=findComment&comment=484965 ) video files that do not have an external ID (eg, TheMovieDB, IMDB) associated with them in Emby will lose their Watched status if you ever move the files to another location. This is because currently the only way to determine the uniqueness of the file (if it does not have an external ID) is to use the full path to the file. Now, most items will have an external ID, but the big exception can be Movie Extras and TV Specials. Some TV Specials will have an external ID. And some Movie Extras do exist in the IMDB and TheMovieDB, but currently there is no metadata lookup available for Movie Extras ( https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/43845-emby-server-emby-theater-support-nfo-files-and-automatic-metadata-lookup-for-extras/ ). So if a Movie and it's associated Extras is ever moved, the Watched status for those extras will be lost. This feature request is for there to be some better method of identifying files such that those files which do not have external ID's can still be correctly identified (and thus Watched status preserved) even if they are moved. I am most interested in this for Movie Extras. I'm not sure what the best route for achieving this would be, but wanted to put the idea out here for consideration. Thanks! -
Using the web client to watch Movies & TV Shows, is it possible to select which Users are present so that Media Browser Server can update both User’s Watched status? If not is it possible that I can create three accounts, “Lee”, “Stephanie” & “Lee & Stephanie”, then have any Movie or TV Show marked as Watched in the joint account copied over to both users? Kind Regards, Lee

I have setup a “Guest” user and give them access to my Movie & TV Shows. This user account will be used by all of our family & friends who stop over. I would like to disable the watched status for this account. Is this possible? Kind Regards, Lee
