  1. Hi, The delete confirmation dialog has the buttons and colours reversed depending on if you're deleting a single file or if you're deleting multiple files. This constantly tricks me up due to muscle memory and my brain thinking "green button does this". Can they be made a little more consistent, or is this by design..? Examples from Emby Theater (v3.0.15) below, but the same is true in the Webapp (and possibly other apps). Thanks!
  2. On Emby Theater (latest) in Windows 10 (1803) the mouse cursor reappears when media change happens, and does not disappear after. Ie: Click on episode 1 Move cursor to lower corner of screen out of habit Media bar and cursor eventually fade out Finish episode 1 Mouse cursor reappears in lower corner and never disappears. This gives me the angular resize cursor in the lower corner when I'm binge watching and it drives me bonkers.
  3. In addition to (but not contingent on) a related feature request ( https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/43845-emby-server-emby-theater-support-nfo-files-and-automatic-metadata-lookup-for-extras/ ), I recommend Emby Theater display the full Title, Duration and any other Metadata below the currently selected Extra using something along the lines of the UX pattern called "Thumbnail grid expanding preview". See the following for examples: https://tympanus.net/codrops/2013/03/19/thumbnail-grid-with-expanding-preview/ https://tympanus.net/Tutorials/ThumbnailGridExpandingPreview/ http://www.oriongunning.com/thumbnail-grid-expanding-preview/ http://www.oriongunning.com/demo/gridder/ While the current layout is clean and concise, it is not terribly helpful (in my opinion) in knowing what one is considering watching. As far as I can tell the only ways to get more details are to either start playing the item, or Ctrl-D to view Edit Info (neither of which is ideal when you're just browsing). I think that the "Thumbnail grid expanding preview" UX pattern is a decent route to go and in keeping with the general aesthetic of ET. Additionally, once the underlying code is built for this way of displaying data, there are potentially other uses for this UX pattern. One I can think of at the moment (which can be spun off to it's own feature request at some later point) would be to have items in "More Like This" respond this way, so that you get a mini-detailed view of some of the item metadata and then the option to click through to that item's page to actually play the item if desired. This would enable one to more quickly ascertain (without fully going to the item page) if they want to further explore that "More Like This" item or not. Regardless of additional uses (such as for "More Like This" items), I think that some sort of improvement is definitely needed for displaying the details of Extras, and the "Thumbnail grid expanding preview" UX pattern seems like a decent option to me. PS - If this is something you might like to see implemented, be sure to "Like" this top/first post (as well as any subsequent posts in this thread that highlight particular aspects of what you are interested in) -- "Liking" the top/first post helps the Devs to know how much interest there is in a given Feature Request.

    Music UX improvement

I would like to propose some changes to the Music section UX, which I think would bring some improvements. After playing in there and using the music section for a while, some things I've noticed are a little bit annoying. I will refer at this image, red notations representing sections and yellow ones buttons. 1: When making queues on the go, I want to click the 3 dots button (button #3) to reveal the menu. The problem is if you hover to long over the image, the black cover with thumbs appears and a click over the button #3 will start the album's playback. This will just kill your queue and play the first track. I suggest that the button #3 always stays on top, or that area #1 remains uncovered: this could allow for other futur buttons next to #3 that would remain uncovered. Leaving the buttons on top seems to be the best option though. 2: Everywhere in Emby, clicking the thumb or poster image will get you to a detailed page. In the music section though, this just starts playing the album. If you want to access the detailed page, you need to click the 3 dots to get to the alternate menu, then click open. This is confusing and should be kept the same all over the app: clicking the poster (like area #4) should bring you to the detailed page of the item. Plus, "navigation" clicks happen way more often than "play" clicks. Thus, clicking the thumb or poster should be used for navigation and not playback. For the same reason, I think that area #2 should also bring to the detail page and not start playback. For playback, there is a "play" button that serves this purpose. In area #2, only the yellow buttons should represent other actions than getting to the detail page. Tell me what you think 3psus
