MateusXD posted a topic in Android TV / Fire TV

I've been struggling with subtitles for a while and would now like to get them working. Win 10 running 4.4.0.4 beta (will be updating to 4.4.0.6 Subtitles set to preferred language: English and Mode: Smart I thought my problem was mp4s and mkvs where the Audio language was Und but I used mp4box to correct one of the mp4s and Smart subs are still not working. The Revenant (2015) is the movie and there is intermittent non-English dialogue; however, the subtitles play for all dialogue or none, depending on how I set CC once the movie starts. What am I missing that's prohibiting Smart subtitles from working correctly?

Please add the Filter feature for the Smart TV app (Roku) to be able to show all movies in ascending/descending order of recently added, release date, etc. like how the website display has. If I add more than 20 movies at a time, the excess amount do not get displayed on the Smart TV app as it currently stands.

When I try to send a message to a device it works for laptop/PC devices using the website but it does not work for a Smart TV (Roku). I've literally stood in front of the TV and from my phone sent a message to the Smart TV client and it did not come up on the screen while a movie was playing. This send message to device feature does work on Android Emby App (smart phone) and laptop/PC using the website. I am not certain if it works for Apple Emby App however as I do not have any Apple devices.

Currently I’m trying to get a media server set up to play corporate messages and videos around the plant. I’ve managed to set up Emby a powerful Intel Xeon PC, and I’ve been able to cast a video file to one of our Panasonic smart tvs. However, this is not exactly the ideal situation. Ideally I want to be able to play a single folder, with multiple video files inside, and play it on a constant loop to the 8 TVs around the plant. Is this possible in Emby? Currently I’m only able to cast one file at a time, to one TV at a time...

Hey guys! So I wanted to use Emby to import movies from an old hard drive. Being an old hard drive, and with a bunch of backups in it, it's got movie files in a lot of folders. So I used the drive itself as the media folder to import and selected content type as Movies. However, it's showing me all kinds of non video files (like .bin now in my library. Any way to smartly pull only the video files into the movie library? Thanks!

I recently purchased a Phillips SmartTV. I also recently upgraded my old MediaBrowser for Windows 7 Media Center to the latest server/client on the web site. My Windows Media Center looks and works great! But when I try to connect to the DLNA server via my new TV, there is a problem. I can see the server. I can browse to my movie/TV show folders. But as soon as I rest the cursor (on the TV) on a video file, the screen goes blank for about 2 seconds....and then it dumps me out to the menu. The TV is a 4000 series 32PFL4909. The server is running on a quad core processor with 8 GB of RAM. As of now, I am connected via WiFi but I plan on connecting via wired Gbit Ethernet. However, over the wireless, I am streaming HD video via NetFlix and other apps on the TV just fine. I have no problem going through the logs and such. I am an IT guy. I just thought I would post this topic first and see if this was something you folks had seen before and knew of an easy fix. Thank you in advance for the help. Happy

Hi, I'm new to using Drive Bender, but really liking it so far. One thing that seems handy on it is the fact it's combined with HD Sentinel now, so I've got HDD monitoring. I've just noticed today that the smart monitoring is saying that the drive status of one of my HDD's is "Bad" but I don't really see anything else on there that lets me know why it's "bad". I haven't had any problems with it or anything, I'd just like to know why it would get this reading. It's the oldest drive that I own, so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I lose it, but I was just wondering if based on the information provided, if anyone else could tell me why I would get this message in Drive Bender: Thanks, Patrick
