Good Day, I tried searching around but I am having issues after moving my Emby server from my PC to the Synology DS920+. I have a few friends that I allow remote access to my server to stream my content and it worked amazingly when it was set up on my PC. 1080 and 4k worked great. However, after moving everything to from my PC to the Synology, remote play has been extremely slow and buffering all the time. For someone to get uninterrupted stream they have to decrease the playback to 720 at 3Mbps. I am unsure what the issue is and below is all the software and hardware information. (Server streams fine locally on my network, its causing problems with outside networks.) PC (Use to run great on) i9 9900K 3.6 Ghz 32GB 3200Mhz Ram 2070 RTX Nvida GPU External 10TB HDD shucked to internal for storage 7200RPM NAS Synology DS920+ 24GB Ram 2x Seagate IronWolf Pro 16TB NAS Internal Hard Drive HDD 7200RPM (32TB) Internet VerizonFios 1G Speeds with a constant 800mbps Emby v4.7.5.0 Router has a 10Gbps LAN connection in which is what the Synology is hooked up to, I added port forwarding to the Emby Ports on the router to ensure outside connections didn't get blocked. I used Docker to install Emby on the Synology NAS device. As I type this, there are two people on my server trying to watch something and the CPU is sitting at 8% usage and the RAM is at 6%. I am unsure what other information is needed, but I am hopeful in working with the combined knowledge of the Emby form to lead me down the right path. Thank you very much in advance for your time.

Ok, I have to big problems one is I cant get remote play to work and the second is some how my video buffers when Im watching the video on the server its self with no one using it. Now with the first problem I did port forwarded and also made the firewall rule (8096). When put in the remote server on a device it tells me to login, but my password doesnt work so I hit reset password then it makes a txt file in appdata/roaming ect and I hit the link and type the code. After that it tells me to login with a blank password so I go to the login page with no password and then the site tells me "invalid password or username" so now im stuck into a infinite loop. Any help? Next the second problem well it speaks for its self it shouldn't buffer when its literally pulling the file from the same device

I'm having a problem getting the Remote Play to work with XBMB3C. I've checked all SMB shares, I am using the UNC path substitution instead of E:\path. Remote Play does work for my Media Portal Client. I would like to see a feature that would allow a listener to sit on each client that has MBC and/or MBT installed that would look for a Remote Play/Browse command from another client and initiate/open the selected client and execute the command. It could be from HTPC to HTPC, but most often for me it would be throwing a Remote Play/Browse command from Android Client or WebUI to one of my HTPC systems. I don't have MBC or MBT open and running on HTPC systems 24/7. It would be nice to have the option to initiate either of these clients via a Remote command from Android Client or WebUI.

Hi, I am using TMT5 as external player (MCE version), I tag it as TMT5_MCE_addon in media player classic. When using remote play in ios 7 client, the movie is started through media player classic but the play/pause buttons do not work, only mute works. I use MPC-HC for Blu ray playback and there all works fine except audio -/+. Is this because TMT uses other buttons for play/pause than official MCE commands? Can I change this in TMT or mediabrowser? Or will this be an enhancement in ios client? Hello, I have MB3 server running on a dedicated server in the attic which I access from a Macbook Air using the Web Client to get to the dashboard. I also have MB3 clients running on my iPhone 5 and on a Roku 3 that is connected to my TV in the lounge. I can see both my Roku and iPhone connection under Active Connections on the MB3 server dashboard via the Web Client. When I hit Remote Play on the iPhone client I can see and initiate media play on Safari on my Macbook air within the MB3 Server dashboard window. What I can't seem to see on the iPhone is the Roku connection (even though it shows up under Active Connections on the server) and hence I cannot initiate a remote play from the Iphone to the Roku for media held on the server. Is this possible and if so, how do I do it? If it's not possible, any chance of having it in a future update to the iOS and/or Roku app? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and help. NobodyAtAll

Hi folks, I was just using, for the first time, the web client via my phone (SG3) to remote play TV episodes. The remote function works brilliantly to the point where I'll probably remove my MS remote from the system from here on. I only have one issue - I watched 3 episodes from different TV shows (to completion - 100%) and none of them were marked as watched anywhere. any ideas why?
