  1. Has anyone else experienced playback issues with the TrueMAX editions of Harry Potter 1-4 and Fantastic Beasts trilogy by Klexos (icebox616)? I understand they are large files by most definitions, but when using an external player such as VLC, Nova Player, or JustPlayer, they stream fine, no hitches, DTS HD MA passthrough works as expected, HDR10 also works as expected, but when using the internal player, DTS HD MA passthrough works as expected, but HDR does not seem to engage and there is constant hitching in video ONLY. Additionally, the renderer listed under stats for nerds is FFMPEG versus the usual MediaCodec of other files. All files are being reported as Direct Plays. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Setup Server: Unraid server with Emby 4.8.10.0 wired to Orbi Files: https://pastebin.com/i28CfKJP Client: Nvidia Shield Pro 2019, Sony X90K, Yamaha RX-A2060, wired to Orbi Network: Netgear Orbi RBR50 (500 down, 25 up as tested from the client) P.S. Boy would it be nice if there was a quick way to watch with an external player, something in the long hold or triple dot menu would be nice. Having to go in and out of the playback settings is quite a pain.
  2. Looking for some better understanding of the 'Trailer' button built into MB Theater. Am I correct in assuming, that if you are using an External player such as MPC-HC, the 'Trailer' button still streams a movie trailer using the Internal player? I have tried all 3 Video Renderer settings - EVR, EVR+, & madVR..... With each of these settings, I get a pretty bad horizontal tear in the picture being streamed. Has anyone reported a similar issue? Have attached log file (though I'm not sure if it's the correct log) Thanks in advance for any help with this theater-63552852261.txt
  3. Luke, MBS Version 3.0.5326.13255 MBT Version 3.0.5327.40705 What should the MAX STREAMING BITRATE setting be set at if you want all of your media to be DIRECT PLAYED and not transcoded? I installed the MBT update on three (3) machines and two (2) defaulted to a setting of 3Mbps and one (1) defaulted to 8Mbps. Most of my media is below the 8Mbps setting, but RECOREDED TV can vary from 12Mbps to 20Mbps. I'm sure people with BluRay media will have even higher bit rate requirements. I believe this was included as a setting to assist with controlling remote play of MBT, but should it not be an option that you can turn off if you don't have that need? Rather confusing to now have to configure MBT Internal Player to behave the way I assumed it was all along. Does this setting in MBT over ride the TRANSCODING settings in MBS? Any guidance on how this should be configured for DIRECT PLAY or minimal transcoding would be appreciated.
  4. MBT version: 3.0.5075.42881 I have configured MBT to play videos with internal player. I get error message "There was an error processing the request". It does not work for mkv and bluray folders. Log attached. Few important points. I have MBT on 2 machines (HTPC and Laptop), both have the same issue. Everything was fine 10 hours ago when I played movies (on both machines) My main HTPC had the above version (42881), and has error now. My laptop had the previous version, everything played fine yesterday, today had this error. So, I updated to above version, error still persists. Bluray folders play fine with external player (TMT5) On both machines, windows updates are turned off for months now. Did not download anything else. Default instalation (ie. lav filter, xysubfilter installed initially at the time of MBT install.) theater-63520884136.log
