Search the Community

The web player has no option to add the currently playing item to favorites or to playlists. I guess many users here in the forum will answer now that I can do this within the library. Thats right. But when I play an item from the movies overview or from a list directly then going back from web player means to return to originate location, not the media that was played. If you do not exactly remember which media you played, you have to look again for the needle in a haystack. Therefore I suggest to do the following: Preferred: add options for favorites and playlists to web player. or Make sure that the web player always returns the user to the item last played (this is not preferred, because when you are playing from a playlist, and you want to "like" an item, you would have to exit the web player to toggle favorites and come back to your playlist).

Guys I know you're trying hard but I'm getting a little tired of the buggy stuff that seems to come out a lot...it's not feeling very polished and I'm kind concerned over the quality of what's going on. I've just noticed a new "tile" called Favorites which I think is a response to my earlier post on how I lost my favorites because of tags/blah blah but it just doesn't work any more in Theatre. take a look at my screen shots My Movies "Favorites" list ALL my movies (every single one of the 4000+ library). I only have around 40 favorites in my list. TV "Favorites" lists nothing....nil....zilch....nada... and I'm supposed to have around 12 TV shows Sorry to sound grumpy but I kind of am as I'm get tired of the bugs etc. Could someone please have a look at this? Everything works as expected on the browser version. Cheers

Hi Emby I logged this problem a while ago, can I please have my "Favorites" back on the Movies collection? I use this a lot and am frustrated it has been "bumped" off in place of "TAGS" etc on the Theatre pp. Favorites works in TV shows and on the Web App and the IOS app just not on Theater. Can I please have this back? Cheers guys Rob

Hi There guys. I am try you android tv version of emby. I am actually enjoying it. Thanks for this great product. I am not sure if this a feature or not. Favorites on the Home screen? Either on Android or Emby home screen? IS here a way to turn off the side bar on the left screen. It seems redundant. Search for emby tv works well, but it seems to show Actors first then / tv / movies. Can we have it show Movie / TV / Actors? One off question. Whats happening with 4K HDR Transcoding. Do we have resolution to this or this one of the situaton that its just not going to happen?? Once again guys. WELL DONE! thanks Monkeyslapper

Hi there. Wondering if we can have a feature on the home page of the webapp of emby? Looking for an option to add Favorite Live TV Channels. Click on the channel would bring up the channel guid for that channel for the days. Thanks Monkeyslapper

Was the favorites section removed or did i just miss/mess up something on my end?
