Xbox One and x265 10 bit

I seem to get choppy performance streaming x265 10bit files from my server (Windows 7 64 bit) to Xbox One X, files which play fine on the actual PC. When I check stats for nerds I don't see dropped frames and it shows DirectPlay. Is there a way to fix this performance issue? Thanks
  2. Hey there, looks like Hardware Acceleration for HEVC is broken in latest Release. Emby switch to Software Transcode, but for this my Synology DS918+ is too slow. From reports in this Forum it looks like only 10bit Files are affected. On older Versions this was working fine. Is that a known Problem? Finding old Ember versions

So I have another thread I was commenting in, but replies seem slow. So I'm posting here for part of the question. My NAS (TS-451+) CPU doesn't support HW HVEC/10bit transcoding, so it does them in software. Sometime in the last 2-4 months, I believe an Emby update resulted in 1080p HVEC/10bit playback being less efficient. In the past playback was around 70-80% on average high, followed by up/downs that gave the processor some breathing room. Now, with the stable release, its maxing the whole time. I went to the newest beta 4.5.0.13 to see if some of the new changes might help, but it was minimal. I even downgraded the QNAP to an older version that I don't think had issues. I've been searching for a while trying to find an old QNAP package of Emby to try downgrading for testing, but having difficulty finding them. Anyone know where I can get one from early this year or late last year?
  4. Hi, I have a server on UnRaid, Docker is running on this server. EMBY works on Docker, with HW transcoding (VAAPI Intel i5-8600k), generally works great. I have a problem with films with 10bit color. If I play the movie directly (without transcoding) the colors are ok. If I turn on transcoding (to any resolution), the colors are so faded. Can i do something about it? Thank you for your help
