I have had two of these windows errors over the last 2 days. Emby Shuts down but does restart. I have not had Emby Server throw out windows errors before. So I thought I should report it. This is v3.2.12. Attaching logs. Times the errors occurred were 4/10 around 801AM and 4/10 around 1132PM. Thanks for reading and any help! server-63627408088.txt server-63627379200.txt server-63627336651.txt

Server crashing last 2 mornings, .NET framework error in Event Log
seanbuff posted a topic in General/Windows
For the past 2 consecutive mornings, I've had a family member notify me that Emby was not working on various clients. Both times I checked the server and found it not to be running. Server version has gone from 3.1.26.0 -> 3.1.27.0 -> 3.1.28.0 in that time. Below is what I found in the Windows Event Log: Can someone please tell me if I have an issue with the version of .NET Framework i'm running (4.0.30319) - if so, which version should I be using ideally. Note this is a new issue, only seen in the last couple of days. The Emby Server log provides no information at the time of the crash. TIA -

After restarting my computer recently, when I go to try and start up Media Browser Server, I get a popup with the following: The full text can be found at http://paste2.org/7jU1ngBh Clicking continue causes the popup to go away, then come back up. This will happen 13 times, and then wont come back up again, and instead the MediaBrowser splash screen will come on screen and never go away. At this point, the server will appear in my system tray, and I seem to be able to access the server, including playback of media files. That said, the splash screen never goes away unless I right click the taskbar icon for it and tell it to close (the server will stay open in my tray if I do this). OS: Windows 8.1 Pro Server version: 3.0.5309.26857 Logs from server startup: http://paste2.org/6DnDDnIs

Hi! I´ve been looking for a solution for quite some time now - not successful at all. So I´m trying to get help by askinghere... I am running my mediabrowser server on a win 7 64bit machine. That one works also as client with wmc - all working perfectly here. On another win 7 64bit machine with wmc all is working well, too. The problem ist my win 8.1 pro 32bit tablet. I know theres an app for win 8.1 tablets / mediabrowser (which works great and I will buy anyway). But I´d like to have it all inside wmc together, too. I got wmc on that tablet up and running for live tv (dvblink) but I am not able to install mediabrowser client into the wmc on that machine. Installation starts (setup.exe) an goes on for uac asking me to confirm the installation. I click ok. A view seconds later I am confronted with a message that the program cannot be started. I should contact the vendor... Theres a logfile created, which I attach here. I tried reinstalling some versions of .net (for the logfile is giving some hint into that direction). No success in any way. Mediabrowser won´t install, message stays the same every time. Does anyone have any idea what I might try now? Any help appreciated! Thanx, Christian 0ZZ32ASE.log
