    XML vs XBMC

There is now a choice between two different meta-data formats--is there an advantage to switching from XML to XBMC?
  2. MB3 currently doesn't support the following folder structure... [\org{0, n}] [\artist\{0,1}] [\org {0,n}] \album where org=organisational subfolder {0,n}= zero to many instances []=optional Could such support be added, or alternatively could an xml tag/file be recognised by mb3 to treat organisational folders as organisational and NOT as artists/albumartists. eg M:\Music\Soundtracks\Blade Runner\Tracks.mp3 M:\Music\Soundtracks\Top Gun\Tracks.mp3 M:\Music\Soundtracks\Jungle Book\Tracks.mp3 Soundtracks is detected (shown in dashboard) as an albumartist and artist.xml is placed on filesystem thanks for considering.
  3. 1 issue and 1 question. Server Version 3.0.5267.16902 Music Videos file structure: Music Videos\ Artist\ Video1\ track.mp4 Video2\ track.mp4 1) ****movie.xml is not being created for Music Videos. This results in red warning icon being displayed. I have refreshed the Music Videos collection...no joy. I have rescanned the Library...no joy I have refreshed the Music Video...no joy. 2) Is there supposed to be a "artist.xml" in the artist folder? (none are being created...just wondering)
  4. Is it not possiable to have logos in your home movie collections? I can't seem to get them to work. Also do series.xml no longer working?

    Custom XML Files

Hello, I'm slowly moving from MB2 to MB3. I still have MB2 on my main machine and WMC and server on my laptop to test feature and what not. One of the reason I havn't moved to MB3 is I've created a ton of custom xml files and for what ever reason they don't work as well on MB3. My question is there a list of tags available in MB3 so I can start to recreate these files?

    Server reports

Hi dev team, I am loving the new server features, especially the reports. Would it be possible to make the reports exportable to some format like CSV, XML, XLS, XLSX, etc? I maintain a list of my own media but am manually updating it which is fairly tedious and this would make life much simpler. The movies list is fine as it is With the series, if possible, what I would like to see is something like the below, maybe even list what is missing too? Of course, if this is already possible, if somebody could please tell me how to do it as I am clearly missing it, I have tried manually copying to Excel, but as soon as I paste the data it crashes my Excel.
  7. Dear all, I am playing around with MB Version 3.0.5083.27698 - Metadata Manager. There is a strange thing. When you do a metadata refresh the <VoteCount> element is in the movie.XML file. It's also read from existing movie.XML files, but when you press the "Save" button in Metadata Manager, the element is gone. Greetings
